    Jamsheed began in 2003 with a focus on single vineyard Syrahs and aromatic whites from unique sites across Victoria and has recently evolved to include an urban winery and cellar door located in Preston. Winemaker Gary Mills named his label after a Persian king who according to ancient writings had a fondness for storing fresh grapes in jars over winter where they would inevitably ferment, thus leading to the discovery of wine.

    Inspired by Persian culture, the identity and packaging design takes a reductive approach, aiming to reflect the quality and refinement of the wines.
